Eflornithine is used to decrease and slow unwanted hair growth. It works by blocking the enzyme ornithine decarboxylase (ODC) that stimulates hair growth.​​​ ​

Use a pea size amount, and rub a thin layer of medication twice daily at at least 8 hours apart to the areas of unwanted hair growth on the face and area under the chin.

You may experience skin irritation, acne, burning, or stinging. If you experience irritation take a break from usage and restart once resolved. Stop usage if you develop hives or swelling.

Results are typically seen within 4-8 weeks. Because eflornithine can be irritating, you can apply a hydrating moisturizer after applying the Facial Hair Cream. Make sure you wear a mineral based sunscreen at least 30 SPF or higher since your skin will be more sensitive to the sun while using this cream.
